Located near Hayle on the dunes directly above 9 miles of sandy beach around St. Ives Bay and with the countryside directly behind; it is the ideal place to swim, sunbath, surf, walk, bike, or bird watch at the newly formed Local Nature Reserve. But the most important thing is to just relax and to enjoy the beach lifestyle at this perfect get away. The accommodation comprises of two large double bedrooms, kitchen, living room / dinner and bathroom with sunken bath and shower. The upstairs bedroom has a balcony facing West to admire the beautiful sunsets (the header picture was taken from the balcony) and the ground floor bedroom has french doors leading to the garden perfect for an Al-Fresco breakfast or an evening listing to the waves and looking at the stars. Just a short drive from St Ives & Penzance makes Gwithian an ideal base for a relaxing Cornish holiday. Lands End, Truro, Falmouth, Newquay and the spectacular Eden Project are all within easy driving distance. |
